Stop Chasing The Wrong Investors
Read this blog as I explore why AI should be treated as a tool, not an identity, and how entrepreneurs can use it to grow their business without losing their voice, clarity, or human connection.
Over the last several years helping entrepreneurs raise money, I’ve noticed something that repeats itself almost every day.
It doesn’t matter whether someone is a first-time founder or a seasoned entrepreneur.
It doesn’t matter if they have a strong product, early traction, or a polished pitch deck.
Almost everyone struggles with the same mistake when searching for investors — and this one mistake delays fundraising more than anything else.
I want to talk about it today, because understanding this will save you months of wasted time and frustration.
Let’s get into it.
💡 The #1 Mistake Founders Make
Most founders believe they have an “investor problem.”
But in reality, they have a targeting problem.
Founders spend weeks, sometimes months, pitching investors who were never going to invest in their type of business, not because the business is bad, but because the investor isn’t a match.
Ø Wrong stage.
Ø Wrong sector.
Ø Wrong geography.
Ø Wrong check size.
Ø Wrong thesis.
Ø Or… someone who isn’t even actively investing.
Here’s the hard truth:
You can’t get a “yes” from someone who isn’t capable of writing the check.
Why It Happens
The investor landscape is confusing.
It’s not obvious who is active, who is serious, or who has capital to deploy.
So what do founders do?
Ø They message anyone with “Investor,” “VC,” or “Angel” in their bio.
Ø They pitch people who haven’t invested in years.
Ø They chase impressive titles, not real alignment.
Ø They talk to middlemen or “Instagram VCs” who can’t actually invest.
Ø They rely on networking luck instead of strategy.
And then they wonder why nothing moves forward.
It’s not incompetence.
It’s lack of clarity.
No one teaches founders how to identify real investors or how to filter the wrong ones out.
The Real Problem Isn't “I Can’t Find Investors”
The real problem is: “I’m speaking to investors who are not aligned with me.”
And until that changes, nothing else will work:
Not your pitch deck.
Not your messaging.
Not your follow-up.
Not your warm introductions.
Fundraising becomes dramatically easier the moment you stop chasing everyone
…and start talking only to the right investors.
What Investor–Founder Fit Actually Looks Like
Without giving away the full framework, here’s what alignment really means:
An investor should match your:
Sector
Stage
Geography
Check size
Investment thesis
Activity level
Decision-making authority
If even one of these is off, the investor simply cannot say yes.
It’s not personal.
It’s structural.
What Happens When You Fix This
When you shift from “more outreach” to “aligned outreach,” everything changes:
Replies increases
Meetings increase.
Momentum increases.
Confidence increases.
You stop chasing.
You start choosing.
That shift alone can move a founder from months of stagnation to real investor conversations.
📌 Want the step-by-step system?
I teach the full process, including how to:
Build a real investor list
Validate investors
Avoid fake or inactive investors
Filter out the wrong ones
Approach the right ones the right way
Use proven professional outreach templates
Track your pipeline
Increase meetings and replies

AI Is A Tool, Not An Identity (Copy)
Read this blog as I break down the #1 mistake that kills fundraising and how to fix it fast.
AI is everywhere right now, and many people are starting to treat it as an identity, not a tool.
It’s in conversations, in content, in tools, and in promises about the future of work.
And while it’s exciting, there’s something important happening beneath the surface:
some entrepreneurs are beginning to define themselves by the tools they use, instead of the value they bring.
AI was never meant to be an identity.
It’s meant to be a tool.
A powerful one, yes — but still a tool.
The entrepreneurs who will grow the most in the coming years won’t be the ones who avoid AI, and they won’t be the ones who hand everything over to it either.
They’ll be the ones who know how to use it intentionally.
Because when AI starts replacing your thinking, your voice, and your presence, that’s when something gets lost.
The real role of AI in business
Used well, AI can:
Save you time on repetitive tasks
Help you organize ideas and think more clearly
Support planning, research, and execution
But what it shouldn’t do is:
Speak for you
Think for you
Replace your perspective
AI can give you words.
Only you can give them meaning.
And when you forget that, AI stops being helpful, and starts being loud.
Your judgment, your experience, your intuition, and your ability to connect with people, that’s where real value is created.
Where many entrepreneurs go wrong
The biggest mistake I see is letting AI take over the human parts of the business.
When every email sounds the same.
When every post follows the same structure.
When every message feels polished… but empty.
Efficiency without personality doesn’t build trust.
And trust is still what drives relationships, clients, and growth.
Your voice is not something to automate away.
It’s something to protect.
The real advantage in an AI-driven world
AI can make your business faster and more efficient.
But it can’t make it human.
It can’t share your story.
It can’t understand why someone hesitates, feels inspired, or needs reassurance.
It can’t build real relationships.
That’s your role.
The more technology advances, the more valuable clarity, empathy, and presence become.
A simple way to think about it
Let AI:
Remove friction
Speed up execution
Support your thinking
But let you:
Lead the vision
Shape the message
Build the connection
Because in the end, business is still about people.
AI may change how we work, but it will never replace why we do it.

How to Turn Followers into Paying Clients
Read this blog as I
Do you ever feel like you’re posting consistently, showing up online, getting likes and comments, but somehow, it’s not translating into actual clients?
You’re not alone.
This is one of the most common frustrations I hear from entrepreneurs, consultants, and coaches. And the truth is simple, even if it’s uncomfortable:
Followers don’t pay the bills.
Trust does.
You don’t need a massive audience to build a profitable business. You need a meaningful one, people who trust you enough to take the next step and work with you.
You can have 500 followers and make more money than someone with 50,000, if you know how to turn attention into trust, and trust into clients.
Below are five proven strategies to help you do exactly that — without feeling pushy, salesy, or inauthentic.
1. Stop Chasing Likes. Start Building Relationships.
This is the foundation of everything else.
Most people focus on likes, views, and follower counts. But here’s the reality:
The algorithm doesn’t pay you — people do.
Instead of chasing numbers, start focusing on conversations.
Reply to comments.
Answer DMs.
Send a quick voice note.
Show up as a real person.
When people feel seen and heard, they connect emotionally. And connection always comes before conversion.
If you get this part right, everything else in your business becomes easier — content, sales, referrals, and retention.
2. Lead With Value in Every Piece of Content
Once you’ve built connection, the next step is trust.
And the fastest way to build trust online is simple: value.
Every post, every story, every video should make someone think:
“If I get this much value for free, imagine what working with her would be like.”
You don’t need to give away your entire process. Just give people a small win.
If you’re a consultant: share a simple checklist
If you’re a coach: offer a mindset shift they can apply today
If you’re in marketing: show a clear before-and-after example
Practical, actionable insights build authority — and authority builds confidence in your offer.
3. Show the Person Behind the Brand
People don’t buy from logos or perfect brands.
They buy from people they feel connected to.
Let your audience see the person behind the business:
Your process
Your workspace
Your lessons
Your growth
This isn’t about oversharing. It’s about being relatable.
Often, a simple story about something you learned along the way creates more engagement than a perfectly polished tutorial — because people connect with emotion, not perfection.
When people connect with you, they naturally trust what you offer.
4. Always Give Them a Next Step
This is where many entrepreneurs lose momentum.
You create great content. People engage.
And then… nothing happens.
If you don’t show people what to do next, the connection ends there.
Every piece of content should lead somewhere — not necessarily to a sale, but to deeper connection.
Invite people to:
Join your email list
Download a free resource
Attend a live training
Listen to a podcast episode
When followers leave social media and enter your ecosystem, they become leads.
And leads — when nurtured properly — become clients.
Sometimes, the simplest invitation is the most effective.
5. Stay Consistent — Because Familiarity Builds Trust
Even the best message won’t work if people forget you exist.
You don’t need to post every day.
You just need to show up regularly.
Consistency builds familiarity.
Familiarity builds trust.
And trust is what makes someone think of you when they’re ready to buy.
People don’t buy when you post.
They buy when they are ready.
Your job is to be visible when that moment comes.
Final Thoughts
Followers don’t equal clients. Relationships do.
Serve first.
Add value.
Be consistent.
Give people a next step.
And show them that working with you is simply the next natural move.
It’s not about chasing people — it’s about attracting the right ones by showing up with clarity, confidence, and genuine care.
Every post, every story, every conversation is an opportunity to build trust.
And trust is what turns attention into opportunity.

Incorporate those keywords strategically throughout your website content, in headings, meta tags, image descriptions, and even in the URLs. Just remember, don't go overboard and stuff keywords everywhere like a maniac. Keep it natural, my friends! it's crucial to maintain a natural flow and avoid keyword stuffing, as search engines value high-quality, user-friendly content.
Regularly updating your website with fresh and valuable content is crucial for SEO success. Fresh and juicy content is another key ingredient for SEO success. Search engines crave new and valuable content.

Identify the platforms that are most relevant to your target audience and establish a presence on those channels. It's not just for posting cute cat videos anymore (although those are always welcome). Social media platforms are where the party's at, my friends.
Find out which platforms your target audience hangs out on and go join the fun. Develop a content strategy tailored to each platform, taking into consideration the unique characteristics and preferences of the users. Regularly monitor your social media accounts and actively engage with your audience. Keep an eye on your accounts, respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and friendly manner. Encourage conversation by asking questions, seeking feedback, and starting discussions.
Offer Incentives and Referral Programs
Customers are more likely to engage with a business that offers incentives or rewards. In a world where connections are the currency of success, effective communication is so important. It's the cornerstone of making a lasting impression that resonates with others. So, are you ready to elevate your communication skills and leave a lasting mark?
Communication is not just about words, but also body language, tone, and the written word. To truly stand out, we must cultivate the ability to express ourselves with clarity, confidence, and authenticity.
Imagine effortlessly articulating your thoughts, capturing attention with your words, and engaging others on a profound level. By sharpening your verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills, you hold the key to unlocking a world of opportunities.
And effective communication is a two-way street. It means that involves not just expressing yourself but also actively listening to others. Learn the art of attentive listening, understanding that true communication is about forging connections and creating shared understanding.
Adapting your communication style to different audiences is also another crucial aspect. Discover the power of tailoring your message to resonate with diverse individuals and groups. By doing so, you will inspire, influence, and leave a lasting mark on those around you.
A compelling communicator possesses the ability to not only capture attention but also inspire others to action. Whether you are aiming to excel in your personal or professional life, developing effective communication skills is a game-changer.
Continuous Growth and Resilience
And yes, in a world that's constantly evolving, standing out requires a commitment to growth and self-improvement. It's not enough to simply possess skills and expertise, you must cultivate them with passion and dedication.
To truly stand out, you must go beyond the status quo. Seek out opportunities to expand your knowledge, refine your skills, and push the boundaries of your expertise. Embrace workshops, courses, and collaborations with mentors who can guide you on your path to greatness.
By staying ahead of the curve, you position yourself as a valuable asset in any environment. As the world changes and new challenges arise, your commitment to continuous growth ensures that you are always equipped with the latest tools and insights.
Embrace the joy of learning, embrace the thrill of discovery, and embrace the satisfaction of pushing your boundaries.
Persistence and Resilience
Standing out often requires persistence and resilience in the face of challenges. Embrace failures and setbacks as learning opportunities rather than obstacles. Maintain a growth mindset that encourages you to bounce back stronger and continue pursuing your goals. Your ability to persevere through adversity demonstrates your determination and sets you apart from those who give up easily.
If you've ever felt alone in your shyness and believed that standing out was out of reach, let me assure you that you're not alone. Many individuals who now shine brightly in the crowds were once not standing out themselves.
Take Sara Blakely, the founder of Spanx, for example. At the start of her entrepreneurial journey, Sara was a shy and introverted person. She hesitated when it came to public speaking and self-promotion. However, she recognized that overcoming her shyness was crucial for success. Sara took proactive steps to build her confidence and improve her communication skills. She attended public speaking courses, sought mentorship, and pushed herself outside her comfort zone. Through unwavering determination and perseverance, Sara transformed herself into a charismatic and influential businesswoman. Today, she is acclaimed as one of the most successful entrepreneurs, having revolutionized the shapewear industry and built a billion-dollar company.
Then there's Elon Musk, the renowned CEO of Tesla and SpaceX. In his early days, Elon was reserved and introverted. However, he understood that to thrive as an entrepreneur, he needed to develop strong leadership and communication abilities. Elon actively pushed himself to engage with others, participate in public speaking events, and network with industry leaders. With relentless effort and a focus on personal growth, Elon evolved into a captivating speaker and visionary leader. His confident articulation of ideas and ability to inspire others played a significant role in his success and the transformative impact he has had on various industries.
Even Academy Award-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence faced her share of shyness and social anxiety. During the early stages of her career, Jennifer found it challenging to navigate the spotlight of Hollywood and public events. Recognizing that her shyness held her back from fully embracing her potential, Jennifer sought therapy, worked with acting coaches, and consistently pushed herself beyond her comfort zone. As time passed, her confidence grew, enabling her to deliver powerful performances and forge deep connections with audiences. Today, Jennifer is celebrated not just for her acting talent but also for her authenticity and relatability.
These stories serve as a reminder that feeling shy or not standing out initially does not determine our ultimate trajectory. With dedication, self-awareness, and the willingness to step outside our comfort zones, we can transform our perceived weaknesses into strengths. The journeys of Sara Blakely, Elon Musk, and Jennifer Lawrence exemplify the incredible power of personal growth and the potential to shine brightly in any domain.
So, in conclusion, my beautiful people, standing out is a continuous journey of self-discovery, growth, and self-expression. By embracing your authenticity, radiating confidence, expressing yourself with passion, dressing to impress, mastering effective communication, cultivating your skills and expertise, and embodying resilience, you will stand out from any crowd.
Remember, standing out is not about seeking attention for the sake of it, but rather about making a meaningful impact and contributing in your own extraordinary way.
Let yourself shine and keep standing out, knowing that you can become unforgettable!
How To Create A Successful Pitch Deck?
Secure funding from investors is often a crucial step towards success. And one of the key tools for capturing the attention and interest of potential investors is a killer pitch deck.
Read this blog as I will walk you through the process of creating a winning pitch deck that effectively communicates your vision and will leave investors begging to write you a check.
Secure funding from investors is often a crucial step towards success. And one of the key tools for capturing the attention and interest of potential investors is a pitch deck.
A pitch deck is like a power presentation that grabs investors’ attention and gets them excited about your business idea. It provides a concise and compelling overview of your business, highlighting its value proposition and potential for growth.
So, if you're on the hunt for funding to take your business to the next level, you're gonna need a killer pitch deck. You want to make potential investors fall in love with your idea.
In this blog, I will walk you through the process of creating a winning pitch deck that effectively communicates your vision and will leave investors begging to write you a check.
What exactly is a pitch deck?
Well, think of it as a condensed version of your business plan, but way more visually appealing and captivating. It's a visual presentation, a collection of slides that tell the story of your business. It's your chance to shine and impress investors with your vision, market opportunity, and financial potential.
A well-designed pitch deck captures the essence of your business and sparks investors' interest, prompting them to want to learn more about your company. The main goal of a pitch deck is to win over investors and convince them that your business is worth their time and money.
The primary purpose of a pitch deck is to engage and persuade investors to invest in your business. It should convey your unique value proposition, demonstrate the market opportunity, showcase your team's capabilities, and present a compelling financial case. A successful pitch deck not only provides information but also tells a compelling story that resonates with investors and leaves a lasting impression. It is an essential tool for entrepreneurs seeking funding for their startup or business expansion.
Key tips for creating a winning pitch deck:
Keep it short and sweet. Investors are busy people who review numerous pitches, and they don't have time for never-ending presentations, so you want to keep your pitch deck concise and to the point. Limit your pitch deck to a reasonable number of slides, ideally between 10 and 15. And get straight to the point. Each slide should convey key information concisely, using bullet points and eye-catching visuals to make your message crystal clear.
Next up, pay attention to the visual design. Looks matter! Aesthetics play a crucial role in capturing and retaining investors' attention. Use high-quality images, graphs, and charts to support your content and make your pitch deck visually appealing. And choose a professional design that reflects your brand’s personality.
But, it's not just about the looks. Your pitch deck needs a compelling story. People love stories, so tell a compelling story that engages investors emotionally and hooks them.
A compelling story creates a connection, captures attention, and makes your pitch memorable. It helps investors understand the journey, purpose, and potential impact of your business. Start with the problem your business solves, introduce your unique solution, and show off the potential for growth and impact. Don't forget to sprinkle in some real-life examples or testimonials to back up your claims.
Remember, investors aren't all the same. They have different preferences and interests. So, do your homework and tailor your pitch deck to match their needs. Research their investment preferences, address their concerns directly, and align your content accordingly. Show them why your business is the perfect fit for their investment goals.
While it's important to know what to include, is equally important to know what you should avoid in your pitch deck. So, don't overwhelm investors with unnecessary details, complicated jargon, or technical specifications. Instead, focus on presenting the most critical aspects of your business and its potential for success. Keep it simple and straightforward. Also, steer clear of making vague statements or unrealistic projections. Be honest about the risks your business may face, and emphasize your strategies to overcome them.
Let's break down the key components of a killer pitch deck:
First, create a logical flow that guides investors through your presentation seamlessly. Make sure each slide leads smoothly into the next, keeping their attention locked in.
Set the stage with a captivating cover slide and an introduction that gives a sneak peek into your business. It must include your company name, logo, and a tagline that encapsulates your value proposition. Follow it with an introduction slide that briefly explains your business and sets the tone for the rest of the presentation.
Then, dive into your company's purpose and vision. Tell investors why your business exists and what impact it aims to make in the world. So, clearly articulate your company's purpose, mission, and vision. Explain the problem you want to solve or the need you fulfill, emphasizing the value your business brings to customers or society at large.
Next, address the market problem. Show that you understand the pain points and challenges your target customers face. Demonstrate your understanding of the problem and its significance. Provide data, statistics, or anecdotes that validate the existence and scale of the problem. By using data and stories to prove the problem's significance, you will make investors go: "Wow, this is a real issue!"
Of course, you can't just leave them hanging with the problem. That's where your brilliant solution comes in. So, now present your unique solution or product that addresses the market problem. Explain how your product or service solves the problem better than any other one. Highlight its unique features, benefits, and why customers will choose you over the competition.
And now, here's the secret sauce: timing. They want to know “Why now”? You have to convince investors that the timing is perfect for your business. Highlight any market trends or technological advancements that create a favorable environment for your solution. Show them why now is the right time to invest in your business and reap the rewards.
Investors wanna know about that sweet market size. Show them the money! Present the size and potential of your target market. Back it up with solid research and data. Investors love numbers, so make sure you've got impressive figures to share.
Introduce your rockstar team members and their impressive experience. Investors want to see that you've got a capable crew that can turn your vision into a reality. Highlight any key advisors or experts who support your venture too.
Acknowledge the competition. Yes, they're out there! But don't sweat it. Show investors how your business stands out from the crowd. Highlight your unique value proposition and competitive advantages. Be real about the competition but make it clear why you're gonna come out on top. And never say that there’s no competition, it shows that you didn’t do your homework. There’s always competition unless you came up with something really out of the ordinary, which is rare nowadays, but not impossible…
Clearly outline your business model and revenue streams. Paint a realistic financial picture with financial projections. Show investors the potential return on investment. Explain how you generate revenue, your pricing strategy, and any plans for monetization or future expansion. Give them a taste of the financial potential and how they'll get their returns. Provide evidence of your revenue traction, such as current customers, partnerships, or pre-sales. Include revenue forecasts, cost structures, gross margins, and projected profitability. Be ready to back up your assumptions and strategies.
Present your fantastic product features. Dive deeper into the specific features and functionality of your product or service. Showcase how it solves the market problem and adds value to customers. Use visuals, screenshots, or prototypes to illustrate its capabilities.
And don't be shy when it comes to the Ask. After all, that’s the reason why you are there in the first place. Clearly state what you're seeking from investors. Be specific about the investment amount you are looking for and how it will be used. And hey, be ready to negotiate and discuss the potential returns on their investment.
Provide a realistic plan for how investors can expect to exit their investment and realize returns. Discuss potential exit opportunities such as acquisition, IPO, or other strategic partnerships. Investors want to know that there is an exit strategy in place to maximize their investment.
And last but not least, end your pitch deck with a strong closing slide that summarizes the key takeaways. Leave investors with a lasting impression. Make it easy for them to reach out and continue the conversation. Include your contact information and an invitation for further discussion or due diligence.
Now, we can't forget that when presenting to investors, it's essential to have supporting materials that provide detailed financial information, so provide the financial statements that investors wanna see. Have your supporting materials ready:
A killer business plan is a must. So, include a comprehensive business plan that outlines your market analysis, competitive landscape, marketing strategy, operational plans, and financial projections. It's the roadmap that will guide your business to success.
Balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement - these financial statements are essential. They show investors the health and stability of your business, how you generate revenue, manage costs, and handle cash flow.
Lastly, the proceeds schedule. The proceeds schedule outlines how the investment funds will be used. It provides a breakdown of the capital allocation, including areas such as product development, marketing, hiring, and operational expenses. Investors want to understand how their investment will be utilized to drive growth and generate returns.
In conclusion, creating a successful pitch deck is a critical step in attracting investors to your business. By following best practices for design, including key components, developing a compelling story, and preparing supporting materials, you can increase your chances of securing funding. And remember to tailor your pitch deck to your target investors and be prepared to adapt and refine it based on feedback and evolving market conditions.
With a well-crafted pitch deck, you can confidently present your business to investors and showcase its potential for success.
So now go out there and rock that pitch! Good luck!
Developing A Powerful Network And Building Strong Relationships
Your network is one of the most powerful tools you have to succeed, after all, your success is all about who you know.
Read this blog where I will share all about developing a powerful network and building strong relationships.
Your network is one of the most powerful tools you have to succeed, after all, your success is all about who you know. Let’s face it, you may have the best products or services, you can be the most talented person on the planet, but without the right network, you will go nowhere, you will be just the best-kept secret, and you don’t want that, do you?
So, in this world with so much competition and with so many ways to connect to one another, one of the most important things you need to do is to learn how to build a powerful network.
You have to go out there and start connecting with people, but not just with anyone, you want to connect with people who are worth to you, yes, because you don’t just want a big network, you want to have a powerful network, and what that means is that they have to mean something to you, it's not just about the quantity of connections, but the quality of the relationships you build.
So, what I want to do today is to help you build this so much needed network, and for that, I’m going to talk about some strategies that will help you build it.
Networking plays a crucial role in expanding your professional network and creating valuable connections. If you implement these strategies, you can maximize opportunities for growth, collaboration, and career advancement.
First, you need to attend events, well nothing new here, but make sure to attend Industry-specific events and conferences that offer excellent opportunities to connect with like-minded professionals, experts, and potential mentors. Picture this: a room full of like-minded professionals, experts, and potential mentors, all gathered under one roof to share knowledge, insights, and maybe even a few laughs.
Make a point to attend relevant events, but is not just about being physically present, so don’t just listen, participate, and engage in conversations with other attendees. Remember, everyone there is just as passionate about the industry as you are, so the potential for great connections is immense.
These events often feature networking sessions or social gatherings designed specifically for building connections, so keep an eye out for these sessions. Take advantage of these opportunities to meet new people, exchange contact details or business cards if you still use them, or even better connect on LinkedIn with them, and learn about their experiences. Who knows? You might find a mentor, a potential investor, a partner, or even a lifelong friend.
And don’t forget the unofficial networking opportunities that come up during coffee breaks, lunches, or other after-event socializing. Many industry events and conferences offer social activities like happy hours, dinners, or even a friendly game of bowling or something like that. These informal settings provide a relaxed atmosphere where you can let your hair down, enjoy some good company, and build relationships beyond the professional sphere. So, don't underestimate the power of these moments! And, don't be shy, strike up conversations, ask questions, and share your own insights. You'll be amazed at how quickly you can form connections and gain valuable industry insights over a cup of coffee or during a lively conversation at a cocktail party.
But hey, networking isn't just about what you can gain from others. It's a two-way street. So, don't be afraid to offer your expertise, insights, or help to others. Be generous with your knowledge and support. This not only establishes you as a valuable connection but also strengthens the bond between you and your new connections.
And let's not forget the power of social media. When you attend an industry event or conference, share your experience on platforms like Twitter or Instagram using event hashtags. Engage in conversations online with other attendees, speakers, or organizers. It's a fantastic way to extend your networking reach beyond the physical event itself. Plus, it's a fun way to document your journey and connect with others who share your enthusiasm for the industry.
Hey, and what about these amazing times we’re living in, this digital age, where online networking platforms provide a convenient and accessible way to connect with professionals all over the world? A virtual space where professionals from around the globe come together to connect, share knowledge, and build meaningful relationships. So yes, this is another powerful way to build and grow your network: take advantage of the power of these online networking platforms.
Let's start with the big player in the game: LinkedIn. This platform is where you can showcase your expertise, highlight your achievements, and connect with professionals from all industries. So, dust off your profile, spruce it up, and let the networking magic begin!
Here's the deal: LinkedIn is not just a place to passively show off your accomplishments. It's a place buzzing with opportunities. So, engage in discussions, join groups, and share your insights. Don't be shy about reaching out to potential connections, after all, everyone is there for the same reason: to network and expand their professional horizons.
Now, let's talk about professional forums and networking communities. These online spaces are full of like-minded professionals who gather to exchange ideas and knowledge. No matter, in which industry you are in, there's a forum or community out there waiting for you.
Jump on these platforms, engage in discussions, and make your presence known. Share your insights, ask questions, and show off that unique perspective of yours. By actively participating, you not only establish yourself as a go-to expert, but you also open doors to meaningful connections and collaborations.
And guess what? Online networking platforms offer you the opportunity to connect with professionals from all walks of life. You could be chatting with a CEO in New York City while sipping your morning coffee in Tokyo. The world is truly at your fingertips!
Use these platforms, showcase your expertise, join relevant discussions, and don't be afraid to reach out and connect with professionals in your field.
And, now you know how to leverage online networking platforms like a pro. So, get out there, make connections. And conquer the virtual networking world!
You also need to attend Networking Workshops or Training Programs. Why? Well, just because they're like a crash course in networking excellence. Picture this: a room filled with fellow networking enthusiasts, all eager to learn, grow, and connect. It's like a networking party on steroids!
And don't worry if you're a little shy or unsure of your networking abilities. These workshops are judgment-free zones where everyone is there to learn and improve. It's all about stepping out of your comfort zone, embracing the unknown, and unlocking your full networking potential.
During these sessions, you'll discover the art of making a killer first impression. You'll learn how to approach people with confidence, strike up engaging conversations, and leave a lasting impact.
But wait, there's more! These workshops often dive deep into the power of body language and nonverbal cues: like handshakes, eye contact, posture, they will uncover it all.
And, now let’s talk about Maintain and Nurture Relationships. Building strong networks requires consistent effort. Because let's face it, building strong networks is not a one-time thing—it requires consistent effort and genuine care.
Think of it this way: you've attended networking events, connected with inspiring professionals, and had those awesome coffee chats. But what's next? How do you ensure those connections thrive and grow into something meaningful? Well, my friends, it's all about maintaining and nurturing those relationships.
So, the secret is: Stay in touch! Yep, it's as simple as that. Don’t let them forget you! Reach out periodically and show them you genuinely care. Send a quick email, drop a friendly message, or even pick up the phone for a good old-fashioned catch-up.
But wait, it's not just about checking in for the sake of it. Show genuine interest in what’s going on with them, celebrate their wins, offer a listening ear when they face challenges, and cheer them on along their journey. Trust me, a little bit of support can go a long way in solidifying those connections.
Another way to maintain relationships is by sharing relevant updates or resources. If you come across an interesting article, a new podcast episode, or a good book, share it with your connections! It shows that you're thinking of them and want to contribute to their growth and success. It's like spreading good vibes in the networking universe!
And don't forget about the power of face-to-face interactions. Whenever possible, invite your connections for a catch-up over coffee, lunch, or even a virtual hangout. Building a personal connection strengthens the professional bond, and it's a great opportunity to learn from each other, collaborate, and maybe even spark new ideas.
And once again, remember, networking is not a one-way street. It's about building mutually beneficial relationships. So, be open to offering support when your connections need it. Offer your expertise, connect them with relevant resources or other professionals, and be their biggest cheerleader. It's all about cultivating a spirit of collaboration and generosity.
Now, I get it, life gets busy, and it's easy to let those relationships slip through the cracks. But here's the thing: investing time and effort into maintaining and nurturing your connections pays off in the long run.
So, my beautiful people, make a commitment to keep those connections alive and thriving. Stay in touch, show genuine interest, offer support, and continue to grow together.
Remember, it's not just about the number of connections, but the quality of the relationships you build.
Stay curious, stay connected, and keep expanding your horizons.
Raise Capital For Your Business
One of the most common reasons businesses fail is lack of funding.
Read this blog where I will share with you some knowledge, secrets, and tips that will help your business raise capital.
If you're an entrepreneur planning to start a business or looking to expand your existing one, this is for you.
As any entrepreneur knows, sometimes you require additional capital to take your business to the next level. In fact, lack of funding is one of the most common reasons businesses fail. So, let's dive into the knowledge, secrets, and tips that will empower your business to raise capital successfully.
Understanding the Basics
Raising capital starts with knowing where to go and how to convince people to invest in your business. Capital is essential for developing new growth opportunities and responding to changes in the market. Attempting to fund new opportunities solely from existing cash flow can strain your business and expose you to unnecessary risks. External funding can help you scale quickly.
Prepare Your Finances
Before approaching potential funders, it's crucial to prepare your finances. Monitor your financial information closely, as it significantly impacts your relationships with suppliers, customers, employees, and funders. Having a clear understanding of your financial reputation and being well-prepared will greatly enhance your chances of securing capital.
Funding Options
When it comes to raising capital, there are primarily two main categories: debt and equity.
Debt: Obtained from banks or financial institutions, debt funding takes the form of a loan that must be repaid in the future with interest. Debt can be a suitable option if you want to retain ownership and control of your business. However, you need a solid plan to repay the loan, and lenders will assess your ability to generate revenue and manage cash flow. Debt funders prioritize getting their money back with interest within the agreed time frame and often require security in case of unforeseen circumstances.
Equity: Equity financing involves investors providing money to your business in exchange for part ownership. It can be an excellent option if you're seeking long-term partners who believe in your vision. However, keep in mind that giving up equity means giving up some control over your business. It's vital to find investors who align with your values and long-term goals. Investors expect high potential returns to compensate for the risks they take, so showcasing your business's growth potential is key.
Ways to Raise Capital
Let's explore various methods you can employ to raise capital for your business:
Bootstrapping:
This involves using your savings or personal assets to fund your business. While it can be risky, bootstrapping allows you to maintain full control over your business. Fun fact: In the early days of Apple, Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak funded their startup by selling their possessions, including a Volkswagen van and a calculator watch. So, don't be afraid to get creative!
Friends and Family:
Borrowing money from trusted individuals in your network can be an option, but it's essential to treat it as a business transaction. Have a clear repayment plan in place and approach it professionally. Be mindful that mishandling such relationships can have severe consequences beyond financial loss.
Crowdfunding:
Increasingly popular, crowdfunding involves gathering funds from a large group of people through online platforms like Kickstarter or Indiegogo. In return, you can offer rewards or equity in your company. Crowdfunding is an excellent way to leverage the power of communities and attract support from individuals passionate about your business.
Venture Capital (VC):
Venture capitalists invest in businesses with high-growth potential, especially those that don't have access to the stock market. They provide funding in exchange for equity and often demand a significant amount of control over the company. VC firms are professional investors who aim to generate substantial returns on their investments.
Angel Investors:
Angel investors, usually successful entrepreneurs themselves, invest their own money and take a personal interest in your business. They often provide seed funding and mentorship in exchange for equity. Finding angel investors can be challenging, but various online platforms connect entrepreneurs with potential investors.
Small Business Administration (SBA):
If you are in the United States you’ve got also access to Small Business Administration (SBA). It’s a government agency that offers guidance to individuals who want to start or grow their own businesses. It provides a series of tools on its website to assist both new and established small business owners. The SBA offers a variety of financial resources for small businesses including microlending, or small loans that are issued to those who might not meet the requirements for traditional financing.
Initial Public Offering (IPO):
Going public through an IPO is when a company lists its stock on a stock exchange for the first time. It allows individual investors to buy shares directly from the company, helping raise capital. However, going public requires extensive planning and preparation.
When considering funding options, find the right fit for you and your funder. It's crucial to find the type that aligns best with your business and the expectations of the funder. Each funding method comes with its advantages, considerations, and potential trade-offs. Understanding your goals and the investor's perspective will help you make an informed decision.
Remember, perseverance is key, even the most successful entrepreneurs faced rejection early on in their fundraising journeys. If you feel discouraged, know that persistence pays off. Learn from each experience, refine your strategy, and keep moving forward.
In conclusion, raising capital can be a daunting task, but it's an essential step for growing your business. By developing a solid business plan, building a strong network, being strategic with your pitch, preparing for due diligence, and exploring alternative funding sources, you can increase your chances of success.
Thank you for reading and I hope the insights shared here will empower you to secure the funding your business needs. Wishing you the best of luck in your fundraising efforts.
Being A Good Leader In A Bad Economy
When times are tough, leaders need to possess certain qualities and skills to navigate through the challenges.
Read this blog as I help you navigate the stormy seas of leadership, even when the economy is bad. We'll explore strategies for overcoming turnabouts, managing broken promises, and finding new ways to lead when the old strategies just aren't working.
In times of adversity and uncertainty, leaders face unique challenges that require specific qualities and skills to overcome. Adapting to change, cultivating resilience, and embracing forward-thinking are key attributes that enable leaders to navigate through tough times successfully. In this blog, we will explore these qualities and discuss strategies that leaders can employ to lead effectively during challenging economic periods.
Adaptability: Embracing Change and New Approaches
Adapting to change is critical during difficult times as traditional strategies may no longer be effective. Leaders must foster a flexible mindset and remain open to new ideas and approaches. By quickly assessing new situations, identifying opportunities, and adjusting strategies accordingly, leaders can stay ahead of the curve and make informed decisions. Adapting to change allows them to maintain agility and overcome obstacles with innovative solutions.
Resilience: Bouncing Back and Inspiring Teams
Resilience is a crucial quality for leaders when facing setbacks and challenges. Leaders must possess the ability to bounce back from failures, learn from them, and maintain a positive attitude. By embodying resilience, leaders inspire their teams to persevere and find creative solutions to problems. They demonstrate the importance of embracing challenges as opportunities for growth and foster a resilient organizational culture.
Forward-Thinking: Visionary Leadership for Growth
Being forward-thinking means looking beyond immediate difficulties and identifying opportunities for growth and innovation. Effective leaders must have a clear vision and long-term perspective to chart a strategic course for their organizations. This visionary thinking helps identify new opportunities and develop strategies that drive stability and growth. Strategic planning, including analyzing market trends and mitigating potential risks, allows leaders to make informed decisions and lead their organizations towards success.
Emotional Intelligence: Building Strong Relationships
To navigate challenging times, leaders need a high level of emotional intelligence. This entails empathizing with team members, understanding their concerns and motivations, and providing necessary support. Leaders with emotional intelligence effectively manage conflicts and maintain strong relationships. Through active listening and empathetic communication, they foster trust, unity, and a sense of belonging within the organization.
Strong Communication: Inspiring and Building Trust
Strong communication skills are crucial for leaders during turbulent economic times. Leaders must effectively convey the organization's vision, motivate their teams, and keep everyone informed about changes and challenges. Open and transparent communication builds trust, encourages collaboration, and creates a shared understanding. Regular updates help manage expectations, provide stability, and reaffirm a commitment to open communication.
Decisiveness: Making Informed Choices
Leaders must possess the ability to make tough decisions swiftly and effectively. In uncertain times, leaders should gather relevant information, analyze potential outcomes, and make informed choices. Decisiveness helps leaders maintain momentum and instill confidence in their teams. By taking responsibility for their decisions and avoiding excuses or blame-shifting, leaders establish integrity and a foundation for rebuilding trust.
Lifelong Learning: Adaptation through Personal Growth
Good leaders are lifelong learners. They actively seek new knowledge and skills, stay updated on industry trends, and invest in personal development. Continuous learning enables leaders to adapt to changing economic conditions, discover innovative solutions, and inspire their teams through a growth mindset. By fostering a culture of continuous learning within the organization, leaders empower their employees to adapt to new challenges and seize emerging opportunities.
Rebuilding Trust: Handling Broken Promises
In challenging economic times, leaders may face situations where promises cannot be kept. It is crucial for leaders to handle these situations with openness, honesty, and empathy. When a promise cannot be fulfilled, leaders should communicate openly, provide clear explanations, and demonstrate transparency. Acknowledging disappointment or frustration, actively listening to concerns, and taking responsibility for the situation are essential steps in rebuilding trust. Consistently delivering on new commitments, maintaining transparency, and involving stakeholders in decision-making processes further contribute to rebuilding trust.
Finding New Ways to Lead: Embracing Innovation
When traditional management strategies no longer suffice, leaders must adapt and find new ways to lead effectively. By assessing the situation, identifying areas that require improvement, and exploring alternative strategies, leaders can address specific challenges. Encouraging a culture of innovation and experimentation, empowering employees to contribute ideas, and seeking external partnerships enable leaders to embrace change and learn from both successes and failures. Creating a culture of continuous learning within the organization further facilitates adaptation and growth.
Inspiring Examples: Resilient Leadership in Tough Times
The stories of Steve Jobs' turnaround of Apple, Howard Schultz's revival of Starbucks, and Mary Barra's transformation of General Motors serve as inspiring examples of resilient leadership during challenging economic times. These leaders faced adversity head-on, made bold decisions, and inspired their teams to overcome obstacles. Their visionary thinking, strategic actions, and commitment to transparency and innovation resulted in remarkable turnarounds, reaffirming the importance of effective leadership during tough times.
Conclusion: Leading with Resilience and Vision
Difficult times present opportunities for growth and transformation. Leaders who possess qualities such as adaptability, resilience, forward-thinking, emotional intelligence, strong communication, decisiveness, and a commitment to lifelong learning are better equipped to navigate challenging economic landscapes. By embracing innovation, rebuilding trust, and seeking support, leaders can inspire their teams, drive success, and emerge stronger from tough times. Remember to prioritize self-care as a leader, as it is essential for maintaining resilience and effectiveness.
Always keep in mind: This too shall pass! It always does, and with the right leadership, organizations can thrive in the face of adversity.

Embrace your leadership role!
I firmly believe that leadership is not about holding authority over others but rather about influencing and motivating people to reach new heights. Great leaders inspire, guide, and empower their teams to realize their full potential and achieve extraordinary things.
As entrepreneurs, we understand that exceptional leadership is a critical ingredient for success. It sets us apart, propelling us forward even in the face of challenges and distinguishes the winners from the rest. Our ability to inspire and guide our teams toward a common goal is what enables us to thrive.
It is disheartening that many organizations still face leadership gaps today. The need for exceptional leaders is greater than ever. In this edition, I aim to bridge that gap by exploring the qualities that define great leadership, sharing inspiring stories, and providing actionable steps that you can implement today to elevate your leadership skills.
Before I dive into the tips, let's reflect on what it truly means to be a great leader.
At its core, leadership is about having a clear vision, effectively communicating that vision, and inspiring others to work collectively toward achieving it. Strong communication skills, active listening, and emotional intelligence are essential traits for effective leadership. However, being a great leader requires more than possessing these qualities, it demands putting them into action.
What can you do to become a better leader?
Here are some actionable tips you can start implementing today:
Create a Strong Vision: Successful leaders possess a clear vision for their business and know precisely where they want to go. Develop a strong vision for your organization, communicate it effectively, and inspire and motivate others to rally behind it. This sense of direction and purpose will enable everyone to focus on what truly matters.
Improve Communication: Effective leaders excel at communication. Facilitate open lines of communication, ensuring everyone feels comfortable sharing their ideas. Articulate your goals and expectations with passion and purpose, igniting the same fire within your team.
Foster a Better Work Environment: Create an atmosphere of trust and respect, which fosters creativity, collaboration, and higher motivation among your team members. When people feel appreciated and part of a cohesive team, their engagement and productivity soar.
Maximize Team Potential: Ensure that every team member is aligned with the shared goal and utilizing their strengths effectively. Provide guidance to enable everyone to excel in their respective areas of expertise.
Motivate Your Team: Understand what motivates each individual on your team. Take the time to get to know them and create a positive work environment where they feel valued and connected. An engaged and motivated team is a powerful asset.
Practice Active Listening: Dedicate time to genuinely listen to your team members, customers, and stakeholders. Practice active listening by asking open-ended questions and fully engaging in conversations. This fosters trust and encourages open dialogue.
Seek Feedback: Embrace feedback, even if it feels uncomfortable. Request input from your team and others, and utilize their suggestions to improve your leadership skills. Remember, feedback is crucial for personal and professional growth.
Lead by Example: Be a role model for your team. Demonstrate the values and goals you expect from others through your own actions and behaviors. Leading by example is an effective way to inspire and motivate others.
Remember, leadership is a skill that can be developed and refined over time. It requires dedication, effort, and practice. By focusing on your vision, communication skills, and leading by example, you can become a more effective leader, leading your team and business to new heights.
Lastly, don't shy away from taking risks and learning from mistakes. Great leaders are willing to try new things and embrace failure as an opportunity for growth. Steve Jobs, the co-founder of Apple, serves as an inspiring example of perseverance and learning from failures to achieve remarkable success.
Thank you for reading, keep embracing your leadership role!
How To Stay Motivated?
Motivation is a universal struggle that we all face at times. It can be difficult to sustain the drive needed to achieve our goals. But with a few simple techniques, you can maintain your motivation and push forward towards success.
Whether it's for work, exercise, or personal goals, maintaining motivation can be a challenge. However, with a few simple techniques, you can cultivate your motivation and propel yourself towards success.
Motivation is a universal struggle that we all face at times. It can be difficult to sustain the drive needed to achieve our goals. Regardless of whether you are a professional, an entrepreneur, or someone striving for personal success, your ability to stay motivated is crucial, even on both good and bad days.
It's important to understand that what motivates one person may not necessarily motivate another. Each individual's motivation is influenced by different factors. Therefore, discovering what drives you, what keeps your inner fire burning, can make the difference between success and failure.
Motivation plays a vital role in driving us toward our goals, helping us overcome obstacles, change habits, and seize opportunities. While maintaining motivation throughout a project or towards your goals can be challenging, effective self-motivation is what sets high-achievers apart from the rest. So, let's explore some key tips to help you keep your self-motivation intact.
Set clear goals: Establishing clear objectives is essential for maintaining motivation. Having a defined vision of what you want to achieve will keep you focused and on track. Remember, your goals should be specific and attainable. Create a well-defined roadmap to guide you.
Create a plan: Break down your goals into small, manageable tasks and set regular reminders to complete each step. Remember, a goal without a plan is merely a dream.
Establish a routine: Building a routine is another crucial factor in maintaining motivation. It helps foster consistency and structure in your daily life, making it easier to stay motivated. Allocate specific time for work, exercise, family, and relaxation, promoting a sense of balance and reducing stress levels. Don't hesitate to modify your routine when needed to avoid monotony and stay motivated.
Share your goals: Confide in someone who will support and motivate you, whether it's a family member, friend, coach, or mentor. Having someone to hold you accountable can be highly beneficial.
Regularly review your goals and progress: Tracking your progress and witnessing your advancements can be highly motivating and boost your self-esteem.
Reward yourself: Celebrating your successes, no matter how small, is an excellent way to stay motivated. Rewarding yourself for reaching milestones will help sustain your motivation and enthusiasm about your progress. Every completed task, no matter how minor, is a victory that brings you closer to your goals and should be acknowledged.
Maintain a positive mindset: Positive thoughts lead to positive actions. Believe in your capabilities and remind yourself that you can achieve your goals. The subconscious mind tends to believe what is repeatedly affirmed by the conscious mind.
Start now: Sometimes, the most challenging part is simply getting started. Procrastination can take hold, preventing progress. Don't overthink—take immediate action.
Create an inspiring environment: Craft an environment that fosters motivation and keeps you focused.
And did you know that laughter can increase motivation? It's true! Research has shown that laughter enhances creativity, productivity, and overall motivation. So, don't hesitate to let loose and have a good laugh!
Exercise also plays a significant role in boosting motivation. Physical activity releases endorphins, which improve mood and increase energy levels, ultimately aiding in maintaining motivation.
Another practice that keeps me motivated is seeking inspiration from others through videos, interviews, podcasts, articles, books, courses, programs, or having a coach. These resources keep me focused and driven.
During moments of setback, remember that you're not alone. We all experience it from time to time. As Jeff Bezos once said, "I knew that if I failed, I wouldn't regret that. But I knew the one thing I might regret is not trying." This powerful reminder emphasizes the importance of taking risks and pursuing our dreams, as the rewards can be incredibly fulfilling.
Remember, the journey matters as much as the destination. Embrace the challenges and failures that come your way, and keep pushing forward towards your goals. Believe in yourself and your abilities, and never give up on your dreams. Along the way, find happiness and gratitude.
In summary, staying motivated can be challenging. However, with clear goals, a routine, rewards, laughter, inspiration, and encouraging words, you can continue moving forward towards success. Never underestimate the power of these simple tips. They can help you overcome procrastination and lack of commitment. Stay focused on your objectives, and success will come your way.
Thank you for reading, and keep pushing forward!
How To Beat Procrastination?
Procrastination is a common behavior that stops us from getting what we want, so let’s put an end to it.
Find out exactly what procrastination is, why we do it, and the key to overcome procrastination.
Break the procrastination habit and get what you want.
What is procrastination and why do we keep doing it even knowing it will stop us from getting what we want?
Procrastination or as I like to call it: “Why do it now when you can do it later behavior?” is a common behavior that makes people feel bad for not doing something that they knew they should have done.
Procrastination is, according to the Cambridge Dictionary: “to keep delaying something that must be done, often because it is unpleasant or boring.”
So we know we have to do it, but we keep delaying it. We don’t want to do it right now. We know that not doing it will be bad for us, but we keep finding reasons why not to do it, at least not now.
Often we relate doing that task with some immediate pain that it will cause us. Sure there will also be the pain of the negative consequences of not doing it, but for some reason, at that moment, we choose that pain over the pain of doing it.
It’s not always a very conscientious choice but is always a voluntary one, which means that we choose not to do it, we convince ourselves not to do it.
Workout? Not today! Not now! We have no time; we have more important things to do; maybe later; maybe tomorrow; it’s cold; it’s warm….
Make that call? Not ready; maybe another time; still need to figure out better what to say; maybe it’s not a good time for the receiver; maybe the receiver is not available now, maybe busy, maybe not happy to hear us, maybe not ready for what we have to say…
Write a book? Need better ideas; need more time; not sure how to start; I cannot concentrate…
Start your own company? What if it doesn’t work; what if nobody will buy from me; what if I cannot make any money; what if I’m not good at it…
Lose some weight? I’m not starting a diet now; I have that event, maybe after; I don’t know how to do it; I have to get some help; I am too depressed; too stressed; too sad; too happy; I need to eat; I get weak when I lose weight; I just feel like eating a pizza right now…
Does any of this sound familiar? Well, it happens to all of us at some point.
Most of the time we procrastinate because we are afraid of failing at what we have to do and that becomes a habit. You have to break that habit, it’s as simple as that.
One of the reasons why I procrastinate has many times to do with perfectionism. I know it sounds ridiculous, but I plan it and I want to make sure that things will be done perfectly. This has given me many times a reason to not do something, at least not at that moment. And the truth is, it will never be perfect.
But also the thing is that when you don’t do it, you will feel worse after and that will be another reason why not to do it, so it might never happen. And it could have been so good for you if done then, even if not done perfectly.
I break the procrastination habit by not overthinking it and just doing it, after all, what’s the worst thing that could happen, if I just do it now? Even if it’s not the right moment, even if the outcome will not be as good as I would like it to be, what’s the worst thing that could happen? So, I just do it and I hope for the best. And you know what? As expected, most of the time I feel amazing for doing it even if the outcome is not that great. I get a great feeling of accomplishment just for doing it and my confidence rises.
When you plan to do something and there is a good reason to do it, and especially when there’s a good reason to do it now, then you plan it and when the time comes to do it, you just do it without overthinking it.
That is the key: Stop overthinking it!

How To Make Social Media Effective For Your Business
Social media is here to stay and your business has to keep up, so learn how to use social media platforms, what they offer and how can you use them effectively for your business: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Linkedin, YouTube, and TikTok.
Social media is here to stay. So, how can you use it to help achieve your business goals? How to use social media platforms, what do they offer and how can you use them for your business?
Before you jump into any platform and start dropping content there, develop a strategy. It can sound like too much Social media is here to stay.
So, how can you use it to help achieve your business goals? How to use social media platforms, what do they offer and how can you use them for your business?
Before you jump into any platform and start dropping content there, develop a strategy. It can sound like too much work, but it’s worth it.
You start by conducting a social media audit to know what you have and what you have been doing on these platforms until now. This audit is for you to check all your social media, identify your strengths and your weaknesses, what is being done, what’s working and what’s not.
Then you will take a look at your competition, what they are doing, and check what you can learn from that, what’s working really well for them and what’s not.
Look at your competitors through your customer’s eyes, what they see, what you think that they would feel or think.
Take also a look at your website or blog, to each page, check your social media accounts and the content that has been posted until now.
When you post content online your goal should not be “to go viral”, but instead your goal should be to appeal only to your customers, so create content with value for them, content that speaks to them, that answers their questions, that solves their problems, that helps them or that entertains them and keeps them engaged.
After doing this audit, it’s time to look into your analytics:
Which days do your posts perform better?
What time of the day do they work best?
What type of content attracts more engagement?
In social media the right timing, good content, and consistency is everything.
And, of course, you need to make sure that your content is relevant to your customers. For that, you need to understand your audience, you need to know who they are, what their needs are, and what they like.
It is also important to have a content calendar, know what to post and when to post. Schedule your posts a few days in advance. Of course, you can always add more, especially some short videos about what’s happening at the moment, people love that.
Then, you keep monitoring your calendar, the engagement of each post and optimize over time, checking what is working and when it’s working better.
If you have a team working on this, you could check who is responsible for producing the best-performing content, reward them accordingly, and encourage them to keep it up.
The key is not to just drop content or even count how many likes, the important thing is to check how your customers behave and react to each piece of content.
You don’t need to go viral to get good results.
Facebook is the platform with more users at the moment and as a paid platform, and it does provide a good return on investment, which means that when advertising on Facebook you do see some very good results. So do not underestimate the power of Facebook for your business.
Facebook has great targeting options, such as location, demographics, behavior, and interests. You will be also able to retarget people, which means targeting people who’ve already interacted with your brand before, just be aware of the user’s privacy considerations.
You can post on Facebook but you can also create pages, ads, lives, stories, and reels.
Just be aware that not all brands are the same, so what works well for one might not work well for another, so make sure that you know your audience and what works for them.
You can create Facebook Groups, think about it as a community, and share valuable content with them on a daily basis.
What about going live on Facebook? Broadcast a conversation, a Q&A, a virtual event, show behind the scenes. But I would advise you to practice before you go Live, so that when you are live, you are more comfortable, more confident, and your customers will tune in and stay tuned.
Facebook Lives allows you to reach a wider audience and build a relationship with them. Always ask for interaction on a Live, ask them where are they from, or if they like the content, or make them a question and ask them to type in “yes”, for example. It’s a great way to engage with your audience.
You should pick one day a week and go live that day every single week on the same day at the same time, so your followers know when and what to expect.
Facebook Pages are more professional than a profile, so this is not for your friends, this is for potential customers only, and you can even add a call to action, like “contact us” or “shop now”.
You can even boost your posts to people who liked the page.
And you should always try to send them to your list! What does that mean? It means that, as much as possible, you want to keep their details, so ask them to send you a message or sign up for a newsletter, make sure you keep their contact details.
Instagram is probably the most popular platform at the moment.
Owned by Facebook, now known as Meta. It became a multifaceted visual platform. Instagram allows users to share their photos and videos, and you can use filters, hashtags, and location tags.
The key to Instagram is visual creativity, it’s all about sharing images and videos.
So how can you use it for your business?
You can create business accounts and you have advertising options.
You can also create Instagram Stories or advertise on stories.
You can Livestream interesting moments of your brand, events, show them behind the scenes, they get the feeling of VIP treatment, which makes them feel special and more connected to your brand.
When you are done with the livestream you could replay it on Stories and target your audience or look-a-like audiences and attract new customers.
You can also create your own hashtag and encourage viewers to include it in the caption when they share their photos and videos, and tag you so that you can comment or reshare it.
Also, encourage viewers to send you DM’s (Direct Messages).
And, of course, you can advertise on Instagram. You connect your Facebook account to the Instagram account, and ads will show on both platforms.
You define exactly which audience you are targeting.
And you can add a Call-To-Action button in your ad that will direct your audience to where you want. Call to action buttons could be something like: “buy now”, “learn more”, “visit website”, or any other action more suitable.
You could also look for Instagram Collaborations. An Instagram Collaboration is a post that will appear in yours and in other user’s feed or reels, so it will appear in two places at the same time. This way your post will have more viewers.
Brands look for collaborations with influencers, these are users that have many followers. Look for an influencer who has an audience that is interesting for your brand.
This collaboration will permit you to promote your stuff to a qualified audience, it’s a fast way to build followers, by getting their followers to follow you and it will gain more credibility making it easier for customers to buy from you.
The key to use Instagram effectively for your business is to be consistent and engage visually with your audience.
Now owned by Elon Musk, Twitter might go through some other changes in the near future.
Twitter is great to know the last news, and to know what is happening right now.
It’s all about fast-paced news feed, but like other social networks, Twitter is now getting adjusted and putting big emphasis on video and Livestream. This way brands can engage virtually with customers, taking them behind the scenes or to a major event, showing them the launch of new products, or showcasing your business.
Twitter also has DM’s (Direct Messages), so you could use them for customer service, but if you do, you need to be responsive. Because when having a conversation on Twitter, the expectation is that it has to be fast, as close to real-time as possible.
It is also possible to advertise on Twitter, but it’s more about Promoted Tweets. You could use them to build followers or engagement, and increase web traffic.
Linkedin is a social media networking site for business professionals and it provides great options for businesses: posts, live videos, ads, articles, newsletters, build a professional network, and post job opportunities.
To use Linkedin effectively for your business, create content that will position yourself or your business as an expert, and do it consistently.
To make sure that your audience doesn’t miss your posts, use hashtags that are trendy in your industry.
Make sure that the content posted brings value to your audience.
In Linkedin you can create a company page and you can invite followers, promote your posts, create ads, create sponsored InMail messages, publish articles, and send newsletters.
You can target your audience by location, company, education, demographics, experience, and interest to get your message in front of the right people.
Like in any other platform, videos became a bigger part of the Linkedin experience. So here you could also show behind-the-scenes moments or the launch of a new product.
Another feature that Linkedin uses that is very useful for your business is Linkedin Groups. With Linkedin Groups you create and manage a specific community with the same interests and problems, and share experiences and ideas.
You start by posting content that your customers want or need, or answering questions that they might have. It takes time, a good moderator, persistence, and consistency, but it’s worth it, you can turn this group into your brand ambassadors.
Linkedin Ads are interruption marketing, it is all about catching people off guard, and when you do you have to hook them, but make it relevant, don’t just start selling or they will stop listening. Maybe present a solution to a problem in your niche, something like “How motivational speakers can get more speaking gigs?” and then give them a direct Call-To-Action: “Click here”, “learn more”, “visit website”, “book now”, “buy now”.
Linkedin is the only B2B exclusive social media platform that lets you showcase who you are and what you do. So take advantage of everything they offer you to grow your brand.
YOUTUBE
People spend many hours every single day watching YouTube videos. If someone is searching for something, where do they go? To Google or to YouTube.
Sure brands would love to create a video that would go viral on YouTube, but is that really what your brand needs? A better way to go is to consistently produce content that your customers like and attract more and more viewers that eventually will turn into customers.
Start by creating your channel, upload an attractive header image, and write a good description about your brand or channel in the “About us” section.
Develop a strategy and content calendar, decide what type of content you will produce, and when you will post it. Be consistent.
Upload your content, and create playlists to make it easier for your customers to find it.
When uploading a video, choose a title for high ranking, people tend to look for descriptive topics, write a description of the video that will engage your audience, research Keyword Planner to know which words to use, and use tags for ranking.
To get more views have a hook image that will make people want to click and watch the video.
You can also Livestream or advertise on YouTube.
The way to use YouTube effectively for your business has nothing to see with going viral, you can succeed on YouTube by creating videos that help, educate and entertain your customers.
And to turn views into sales, send viewers to a free offer, such as: “If you want to know more, drop me an email and I will get you a free coaching session”.
Don’t create videos for no reason, create videos with an objective in mind.
TIKTOK
You cannot deny it, it has become a sensation and you should not underestimate it. It might not work for every business, but it can surely work for many.
You don’t even need to dance all the time, but you may at times…
For now, TikTok appeals to a younger demographic, most of its users are under 30.
It’s all about entertaining videos often synced to a popular song.
But media companies and brands are jumping on, creating digital campaigns, taking part in promoted hashtag challenges, or creating sponsored stickers and effects.
So how do you know if TikTok is worth for your business?
You need to start by knowing if your customers are on TikTok. And if they are, check for some hashtags that are trending and appeal to them.
And remember, especially on TikTok, your content doesn’t need perfection, it needs personality and as always, consistency.
**
We have now spoken about several social media platforms that you can use effectively for your business and how you can use them.
It is very important to understand your customers and their needs, that will always be the key to any marketing strategy. So, see who your customers are, what they need, what they want, and look at their demographics, behaviors, interests, purchases, questions, and anything else that might help you know them. Now try to figure out your customer’s day, what social media platforms are they using, when they are using them, what they need and how can you help them.
And which platform should you choose? Well, it all depends on your brand, your audience, and what kind of team you have. But I would say, do not settle for just one. Try them all and see which one gives you better results.

Why People Don’t Take You Seriously?
Aren’t you being taken seriously?
Well, this can happen to anyone at some point, but if it happens a lot, then it’s time to take some measures and change that.
If you are a business owner, or if you want to build a successful career, or if you are a parent or a teacher, or a leader, you have to be taken seriously!
There are people who have so much charisma that no matter what they say, everyone stops to listen. There are others, on the other hand, that whatever they say goes unheard, or if heard, not taken seriously.
And I’m here to tell you that this has nothing to do with being smart, it’s just the way we attract and convince, or don’t convince, people with our words.
So, have you ever experienced this? Not been taken seriously?
Well let me tell you, it’s a terrible feeling. You talk and they look away or they look to their mobiles, somebody else comes and talks over you, disregarding completely what you are saying or the fact that you are even saying anything. It can be frustrating and upsetting, making you feel really bad and inferior. And it doesn’t matter if this happens in your personal or professional life, it’s just bad.
Now, this can happen to anyone at some point, but if it happens a lot, then it’s time to take some measures and change that, and believe me, this one is on you, it’s no one else's fault. People who are ignoring you, are probably not even aware that they are doing that, because they are simply just not taking you seriously.
It’s time to do something about it, and only you can do it.
Especially if you are a business owner, or if you want to build a successful career, or if you are a parent or a teacher, or a leader, you have to be taken seriously!
So let’s start by checking some reasons why people don’t take you seriously:
Whether you like it or not, it might be the way you look, the way you present yourself. I don’t necessarily mean wear a tie or high heels, I’m not talking about that, but you have to present yourself well and dressed for the occasion. What this exactly means depends on the occasion itself and the people who you are trying to impress.
Okay, now you may look really good and people want to hear what you have to say, but it’s when you open your mouth that you have to show confidence in what you are saying. This means that you have to believe it before others do, and if you are certain and if you sound certain then others will too.
Self-confidence comes through in the way you speak, how you present your ideas, how you interact with others, and how you stand up for yourself and for what you believe.
Or maybe they are not taking you seriously simply because you don’t speak clearly, maybe you are not able to present your views in a clear way, and because of that you are not able to convince and engage your audience.
Another reason why no one takes you seriously, might be because you are a talker but not a doer.
You keep saying you will do this and you will do that, but you don’t actually do anything, and well, at a certain point, people just stop listening to you. You become unreliable, because you don’t follow through.
It might also be because you don’t keep your word. You promise to do something but you never do. This way you make it difficult for people to take you seriously, they just don’t trust what you say anymore, maybe they did at some point, but not any longer.
Another reason could be, you don’t take yourself seriously. Have you ever thought about it?
There is a difference between occasionally laughing at yourself and not taking yourself seriously.
Laughing at yourself occasionally is good, it can even help you in many circumstances, helps you to be more positive, and stop beating yourself up over mistakes. So laughing at yourself is positive.
On the other hand, not taking yourself seriously is not good, because if you don’t, people will not respect you and they won’t take anything you say or do seriously.
So, stop being the clown in the room unless you are just trying to entertain the crowd.
Another reason why people won’t take you seriously, could be if you are not honest.
And by being honest, I don’t just mean telling the truth, I mean also owning up to your responsibilities, and acting with integrity. That tells a lot about your character, about who you are, and if people will trust you or not.
Or maybe you associate yourself with bad company.
More often than not, it’s true that you are who you hang out with. We all have heard that, right?
Believe it or not, the people you surround yourself with will have a huge impact on who you are and how others see you. They can alter your views, they can shape your habits and behaviors.
So when you spend your time with the wrong crowd, chances are that people will not trust you and they will not take you seriously.
Another reason could be maybe you normally only speak about shallow topics and gossip all the time. If that’s the case eventually people will stop paying attention to you.
The thing about gossip is, if you gossip about someone, people know you will gossip about them as well, so you are not to be trusted.
And if your talks are only about shallow topics, you will give the impression that you are not informed enough about real stuff, about subjects that really matter, so what’s the point in taking you seriously?
Okay, so, these are some of the reasons why probably people will not take you seriously.
But look it’s not written in stone, and you can do something about it, all the reasons mentioned can be changed: BY YOU!
So let’s now see what you can do to change this:
Start by building a mindset for self-improvement, change what needs to be changed, and find that more people will start to admire you and pay attention to whatever you have to say.
And, of course, present yourself suitable to the occasion. Dress to impress. And I’m not being superficial here, it’s just the way it is. Know your audience and dress to impress them.
Be confident.
Work hard on your self-confidence. Stand confident, talk with confidence, make others believe that you know what you are saying.
Confident people are more attractive, they sound smarter and they have the charisma that leaders have. If people get the impression that you are a leader, they listen to you and they will follow you.
Speak clearly.
Make sure your audience understands what you mean. Use words that they are familiar with.
Read the audience. Make sure that what you are thinking comes out of your mouth in a clear way.
Be a doer.
Be the one who shows up and gets things done.
If you just talk the talk but don’t walk the walk, people will not trust you.
If you keep saying you are going to do this and that, but you don’t do anything.
People just stop listening to what you say.
On the other hand, if you are the type of person who does what they say they do, then people will believe you, and they will take you seriously.
Follow through on your promises.
If you gave your word, keep it. Do what you said you would. And every time you say something people will take you seriously because they know that you keep your word.
Be serious when talking about serious matters.
It doesn’t mean you cannot make a joke sometimes, which is good to keep people listening, but don’t make jokes about everything.
People will not take you seriously if you turn everything into a joke.
Be honest.
Own up to your responsibilities. Act with integrity. With this, you will build a character that people will trust and listen to.
Surround yourself with people who reflect what you want to be.
It will make it easier for you to become the person that you want to become and, of course, for others to listen to you, to trust you, and to take you seriously.
Don’t gossip.
People who gossip all the time are not to be trusted, not to be taken seriously, they are small-minded and focus on the wrong things.
And stay well-informed about interesting topics.
But do your research, don’t just repeat other people’s opinions, especially do not just repeat what you hear on the news, do your own research, read about it, and listen to different perspectives.
And don’t just talk about shallow things that are not important, they might be entertaining, funny to hear at times, but to be the only topics that you talk about, makes you look bad and not worth being taken seriously.
Now finally let me tell you, that it can also happen that people don’t take you seriously and it’s just not your fault.
So if that’s the case and it’s not your fault, they just don’t take you seriously because of reasons that you cannot control, that means you are doing nothing wrong.
But if it’s on you, and if it’s something you can change, then please do.

Habits that when done every day will transform your life for the better, and will give you a better version of Yourself!
The day is here, cease the day.
There are habits that when done every day will transform your life for the better, and will give you a better version of Yourself!
Everyone is different: different personalities, different lifestyles, different goals, so pick what works for you and what you want to accomplish.
I will present you with what works for me. But I will, however, be totally honest with you, not every day is a good day, and some days things just don’t happen as planned, and that’s also okay.
What I mean is the daily habits that I will share with you here are the habits that done daily make me happy, ready, and confident to cease my day.
So here are my 10 daily habits:
1. Workout
I like to start my day with some sort of workout.
And I do like to work out, I always did, so for me working out really makes me feel good.
I like to run outside, it’s my Me time, time alone with myself, my music, my thoughts, and nature. Never after a run, I have felt worse than before I started, it always improves my energy, my motivation, and my mood. So it’s a great way to start the day.
After my run, I like to add any other kind of workout. I personally like body pump, high intensity workout, dance, yoga, swim, spinning, so I just alternate them.
It seems a lot, but I try to dedicate a maximum of 2 hours in the morning to my workout.
But it will depend on the day, some days I only do 1 hour, other days only 30 minutes, and that’s okay too.
And some days, I will have rest days and I don’t work out at all, and that’s also important.
2. Inversion Therapy
In 2015, I ran my second London Marathon, and the goal was to also run the Lisbon Marathon later that year, however after months of training and when I was just one month away from running the Lisbon Marathon, I got sciatica.
This means that for months I had a lot of pain in my right leg. That was caused by some slipped discs in my spine that were pressuring my sciatic nerve.
I don’t like to take any kind of medicine unless I really have to, and the doctor told me at the time that there is no medicine to cure this problem, he only could give me medicine to mask the pain, as he put it, which I tried at first, but it didn’t help, so I stopped.
Long story short, I found that walking and some type of exercise would help, so I did that daily. And it was also then that I read about Inversion Therapy.
In Inversion Therapy, you hang yourself by your feet for a few minutes, and it has been great for my back, so I do it every day and the back pain has stayed away.
Just a small disclaimer: Please understand that I am only sharing with you my personal experience, in no way is this medical advice because I am not an expert.
3. Meditate
Another habit I have is meditating.
I am terrible at it. But I keep trying and learning about it.
I try to do it, even if it’s just for a few minutes.
During the day, I have so much to do, and so much to solve. I need to make sure that my mind is clear, that I can focus better. With meditation, I try to take myself, my mind to a higher level, focus only on my body, on my breath, and on the moment. I cannot explain why or how, but after meditating I am ready to take whatever comes with a clear mind.
So I really recommend it.
4. Reading is another daily habit.
Reading was always a habit of mine. I always enjoyed it.
Books have always been part of my life, they are one of my addictions.
And I do mean the physical book, I need to turn the pages, have a library, I don’t get used to digital books.
I hear people say all the time that they don’t have time to read, but then they spend hours watching tv, so go figure…
Don’t get me wrong, I also enjoy a good tv show, a good movie, some golf program, a concert, or a documentary on tv, but my reading has priority, even if it’s just for 30 minutes.
5. Learning daily is another big habit of mine.
I always enjoyed learning new things, new skills, so every day I learn. I take courses, I read books, I read articles, I watch videos or I listen to podcasts.
Learn from the ones who already know it and you will get better at it.
6. Prioritize my tasks
Another habit that I have, and I highly recommend it, is prioritizing my tasks.
I decide what I have to do that day and then I give each task a number, being 1, the one that has to be done first, 2 the one that has to be done second, and so on, you get the idea.
Like this, when I start my daily tasks, I go with first things first attitude. This helps me a lot, besides it reduces stress, because I don’t have to be thinking about a lot of things at the same time, I focus on the one I have to do first. Of course, this is not black and white, and there is always something that pops up and was not planned, but then I just reorganize and keep going.
7. Plan ahead
I like to plan my month, my week and my day ahead.
Does it seem like a lot? Well, it’s not. At the beginning of each month I plan my goals for that month and the tasks that I have to do, of course, that during the month, things keep changing and I will keep adding tasks or even erase some that don’t need to happen any more.
I do the same for each week. Every Sunday I will plan my week ahead. And every evening I plan my next day.
And every time I finish the tasks planned and I check them off of my list, it gives me a great feeling of accomplishment and motivation. So I really recommend it!
8. Eat healthy
In order to feel well during the day, you need to fuel your body with what it needs to function well.
When I eat healthy, I have more energy, so I try to do it as much as I can.
What helps me to eat healthy is to decide in advance what I’m going to eat that day, if I don’t do it, and I just think about it when I’m hungry, that is a disaster.
Food is like exercise, you have to choose what works for you, because we are all different, so what works for me doesn’t necessarily work for you.
9. Drinking lots of water is also a good habit that I have.
I drink water all day! I love water, so no problems there.
I hear some people say they never drink water, I have no idea how that’s possible. I cannot imagine not drinking water.
hear some people say they never drink water, I have no idea how that’s possible. I cannot imagine not drinking water.
10. Sleep good and enough
No matter what kind of day I had, good or bad, I need to sleep. I know I need to give my body and mind a few hours of rest to get up in the morning and face another day. Easier said than done when things are not going well, but I need my body and mind to function well in the morning to solve anything.
So here they are, My 10 Daily Habits that make me happy, give me energy, and keep me focused.
I would love to hear your feedback about it, please let me know what works for you.

How to start a SMMA?
You want to start your own SMMA. Learn all the steps to make it happen.
Well, it’s true that there are already a lot of SMMA’s! But, let me tell you, there is place for everyone, agencies can only take so many customers, so as long as you offer a good service and promote well and consistently your agency and yourself, there is no reason for you to don’t be successful.
Yes, I know, everyone is starting a Social Media Marketing Agency!
Well, let me tell you, that there is place for everyone, agencies can only take so many customers, so as long as you offer a good service and promote well and consistently your agency and yourself, there is no reason for you not to be successful.
Yes, I know, so many crash and burn!
Well, like in all businesses it takes work and consistency to be successful, and not everyone has what it takes to be an entrepreneur. So just do it and you will get there!
What does it take to be an entrepreneur?
So, this takes us to my first point. To start an agency, as well as any other business, you have to have what it takes to be an entrepreneur.
As an entrepreneur, there are skills that you have to have or you have to acquire quickly because they are important to your success and the success of your business.
From my experience, an entrepreneur to be successful has to be able to:
· Communicate
· Manage
· Sell
· Problem Solve
· Listen
· Take risks
These are some of the skills that I believe are really important, and not necessarily in that order.
Also what is extremely important is that you have the drive and determination to be successful! Without that, you will quit on the first bumps.
What do you need to start your own SMMA?
Now that we’ve established that you have these qualities and if not you can get them, let’s move on to the next step of how to start a Social Media Marketing Agency.
One of the best things about starting a SMMA instead of other businesses is that it will not take long to start and you don’t need much:
You need to establish your company, give it a name and register it, have a computer and internet access, have social media accounts on the platforms where your audience is more often, you also will need an email address and a phone number. And that’s all, you are ready to go!
You can work on it full-time or part-time, depending on how much time you have. And yes, it’s true you can make a lot of money!
Which services will you offer?
The next step will be to decide which services you will offer and how much you will charge.
The services that you will offer will depend on your skills: are you good at paid advertising, social media management, content creation, web development, SEO, graphic design, lead generation…?
My advice is to start with the service that you are more comfortable with.
How much should you charge your customers?
Well, it’s true that it’s a very lucrative business, but there are two things you need to have into consideration when deciding your prices: your target customer and your competition.
On one hand, you cannot charge too much otherwise you will not be able to get customers, but on the other hand, you can also not charge too low because they might think that there is no quality in your services. Find the price that you will be able to stand by, to defend no matter what.
Who is your customer?
Now you need to find your customers.
You need to decide who your customer is, who your target audience is and where they are.
Some examples of target audiences could: health, fitness, e-commerce, cosmetics, high-end restaurants, hotels, but there are so many others, the choice is yours, and who do you feel more comfortable working with.
A few things to have in consideration:
For you to be able to get them the results they want, your customer needs to have a good reputation and good products or services. And, of course, they need to be able to afford you.
How to prospect? How to find your potential customers?
One good place to start is with your local business, you will be able to easily talk with them and show them what you have to offer.
Whenever you approach a potential customer, make sure you are speaking to the Decision Maker. You don’t want to lose your time talking to people who cannot make a decision. In small companies, you need to speak with the business owner, in bigger companies with the CMO or even the CEO, depending on the company.
It’s important that you get the decision maker’s contact details: name, phone number, and email.
You can also contact them through Linkedin, if they have an account there, nowadays almost everyone that you need has one.
You may also contact them through Instagram or Facebook.
Another way is looking into your existing network or even your family and friends network, they might be able to help put you in contact with the right person and get your first customers.
For local businesses, you can even pass by and see if you get any luck.
Always make a friend of the “gatekeeper”. The gatekeeper can be a secretary, an assistant, a receptionist, someone who will be keeping the gates of the decision-maker. It’s important that they like you so that they will put you through or tell you how to get there.
The best ways to contact your potential customer
After you made a list of companies that you would like to reach out to, what are the best ways to contact them?
As I said before, if you are targeting local businesses, you can even go door to door, what is stopping you? But it’s not the most efficient way, because it will cost you a lot of time.
There are so many platforms at your disposal, so depending on the type of customer, you might contact them via Linkedin, Facebook, Instagram, or any other platform that suits them.
Emails are always a good old-fashion strategy, everyone has an email, just make sure that your email calls the attention of your recipient because they get many emails a day, and please do not spam them or you will be blocked.
My advice is that you don’t use just one way to reach your potential customer, hit them from all angles, contact them in different ways until you get through and get your first meeting, where you will be able to present your services and get the customer.
How to plan your meetings?
Now you’ve got the meeting, so now what?
When you get the meeting, first make sure you are speaking to the decision-maker, the person who will be able to say yes or no at the end of your presentation.
And now, well, first things first, plan it!
I’m sure you did your research on the company before you contacted them in the first place, so now you just have to plan what to say to convince them during the meeting and close the deal.
In the first part of the meeting, get to know their business better:
· Which products or services do they sell better?
· Who is their target audience?
· How are they marketing themselves? Have they worked with an agency before? What were the results?
· And very important: What is their problem at the moment and how can you help them solve it?
The second part of the meeting will be for you to present your company and services and how you can help them solve their problems.
Go through a competitor’s analysis with them, check their biggest competitors, and show them how they are already getting the results that your potential customers want.
Show them some screenshots of what is possible.
If you already have some results from previous customers, show them some numbers and some case studies.
Make them want to work with you, make them see how valuable it will be and how much they need it.
Close the Deal
Finally, you want to close it:
Now it’s time for them to say yes, for them to tell you they want to work with you.
So, now be direct, ask them if they believe you can help them?
If they say yes, you have now permission to move on, tell them what services they should acquire from you, how much it will cost, and ask them if you have a deal and if you can start working together.
Do not justify your price, say your price and wait for their reaction, act confident.
After they say yes, make sure they immediately make some sort of payment, so they will not be able to change their minds later.
Deliver a good service
Now that you got the customer you have to deliver a good service and get your customer the results promised.
Your services might be:
· Paid advertising
· Social media management
· Content creation
· Web Development
· Lead Generation
· SEO
· Graphic Design
· Email Marketing
Whatever your service might be, be aware of the type of customer, the type of business, who is their target audience, and which platforms you should be using to get them the results. Be aware of the trends, the changes in each platform, and of the regulations.
Don’t forget there is also a lot of software out there that will help you deliver a good service.
So, Now You Know!
How to have a productive day?
You are so tired at the end of the day because you have been running from one place to the other all day! But you have the feeling you didn’t do anything that really matters to you. Does this happen to you? Well, you are not alone.
What you need is to learn how to turn your busy day into a productive day.
We all know that the day can go by and you get so caught up with your daily routine, with small tasks, running from one side to the other, phone calls, emails, meetings… And your staff, colleagues, family, friends, everyone wants your attention.
And there are commitments, places to go, people to see. And all those small tasks that have to be done NOW: bills to pay, documents to send, appointments to be attended.
And you are so tired at the end of the day because you have been running from one place to the other all day! But you have the feeling you didn’t do anything that really matters to you. Does this happen to you?
Well, you are not alone, it used to happen to me all the time and it happens to the best of the best.
So what you need is to learn how to turn your busy day into a productive day.
A day where you accomplish something that matters to you, that will put you a step closer to your goals.
What you want, what you need, is that at the end of each day you will have this amazing feeling of accomplishment, you feel productive, full of energy, motivated, powerful, and happy with yourself.
The problem with many of us is that we start our day without planning it. And when our day begins without a plan, we start by checking our phones, emails, social media, we listen to the ones around us who want our attention, who need us for something, whether it is to do something or to go somewhere. And it is overwhelming!
And we think we cannot say no, so we say yes to everything and to everybody, and we overcommit ourselves…
Well, breaking news, you can say no! But you will only say No, if you know that there is something more important that you should be doing.
By saying “no” to what is not important to you, you will have more time left for what really matters.
Remember, there’s only one of you, and you can only be in one place at a time, so when you are saying yes to something you are saying no to everything else.
So first things first, you need to start planning your day ahead, you need to be ahead of the game. You need to know what you really want, what you want to accomplish, what is important to you, and only then will you have a day that you can be proud of.
To have a productive day means that at the end of that day you can look back and feel that you have done really important tasks. And you will be able to uncheck those important tasks that you had to do in order to achieve your goals. But for that to happen you need to have your goals set.
Goal Setting
Setting goals is important. Goals are your destination, it’s where you need to go.
Long-term goals are the ones that will change your life, but you also need short and medium-term goals, which are the ones that you will be able to achieve quicker, and those are also very important.
You need to make a list of goals, like the kind of list people make at the beginning of each year, but most of them forget about it for 12 months... Well, the difference is you don’t have to wait for the beginning of each year, you start now, whenever now is, and you will not forget about it, in fact, you will accomplish those goals.
You need to make a list of goals, like the kind of list people make at the beginning of each year, but most of them forget about it for 12 months... Well, the difference is you don’t have to wait for the beginning of each year, you start now, whenever now is, and you will not forget about it, in fact, you will accomplish those goals.
I don’t know if you read the blog about How To Become A High Performer… Well, if you didn’t please do, you can read it and I talk about this already there.
About how high performers/high achievers developed the habit of setting goals and really achieving them, no matter what. And how goals are only goals if they are real, specific, and have deadlines.
It all comes down to: What, When and How
What – What is your goal, and it has to be specific and detailed?
When – By when do you want to accomplish it?
How – How will you get there?
After knowing where they are headed, High Performers just make “how questions”:-
“How can I do this?”
“How will I pull this off?”
“How will I meet the deadline?”
So, you will have to do the same.
And after knowing exactly where you are headed, you have to create a list of tasks that will allow you to achieve each goal.
Make lists
Most people stress because they are thinking about too many things at the same time. You need to focus and you start by making a list of tasks that need to be done.
Creating lists will make you more relaxed, you will not forget a thing, you will know exactly what needs to be done, and this will give you the peace of mind to work on what’s important.
Plan Your Day
And then, based on those tasks, you plan your day.
Those tasks will become your most important tasks. Tasks that you absolutely have to do.
And every time you uncheck one of those tasks from your list because you did it, you will feel amazing, your energy levels will rise, you will feel powerful, you will become a highly productive person, and your goals will be achieved.
Plan each day the night before, but please avoid the temptation to over-schedule your day, or you will feel overwhelmed and that won’t help.
And remember if it’s not important to you, it’s not worth your time.
How do you plan your day?
Well, you can start by dividing your day into blocks and reserve a block for each task. And for the sake of your success, avoid distractions and interruptions.
You will dedicate your full attention to one single task in a determined block of time and that is powerful. But it requires commitment on your part to dedicate unbroken amounts of time to complete your important tasks. But if you are committed, you can do anything you want.
However, don’t forget, life is full of unpredictable things, so there will always be unplanned things, be prepared for that as well, have some slots in your day for unplanned daily things. Or, at least, do not get discouraged when something that isn’t planned happens and you need to make some changes. When this happens, you make the changes, adapt your plans, and keep your eye on the goal.
It is also very important that you include blocks for some ‘Me time’ and for reflection.
Because your happiness has to be your most important goal.
Morning Routine
And also remember, that having a morning routine is key to high performance. So, do what motivates you in the morning. Many successful people often exercise and read in the morning, it motivates them and gives them energy for the rest of the day. Find what works better for you and do that every morning.
Start each day the best way, your way! And be ready for whatever will come next!
So, Now You Know!
Have a Productive and Amazing Day!
Habits To Become A High Performer
To become a High Performer you have to start thinking and acting like one.
You have to create new habits.
High performers are people who exceed expectations, who accomplish their goals within the set deadlines, they are the ones who put in meaningful work, day after day, they are successful and they are happy.
To become a High Performer you have to start thinking and acting like one. You have to create new habits.
So which habits do High Performers have that make them more productive, more successful, and happier?
Set clear goals.
Be clear of exactly what it is that you want. Be detailed about each goal. Set deadlines.
Set goals in different areas: career, financial, relationship, health, …
Setting goals is not just about a list of dreams that you believe would make you happy. Setting goals is much more than that, it is about picking something that you know would change your life for the better once you accomplish it. It’s about believing that you will get it, and now it’s just a question of when and how.
Set priorities
Know what comes first. Which goal is more important, which activity or task is more important, who is more important to you. From now on what is more important comes first, no excuses.
Important is anything that will make you happy, and one step closer to being successful, it will motivate you and will give you energy.
Plan ahead
Plan ahead your month, your week, your day, it will give you peace of mind to know what you have to do and when. You will be more relaxed and more focused. And at the end of each day, you will have done something that will put you a step closer to your objectives, which will give you an amazing motivation and feeling of accomplishment.
Plan your most important tasks first, these are the ones that need to get done before anything else.
Overcome Procrastination
You overcome procrastination when you know exactly what you want, and what you need to do to get it. So, set specific goals, a list of tasks to accomplish them, and set deadlines, when you know that you have to have something done by a certain time, you will start quicker.
Do what you have to, even if you don’t feel like it, don’t think about it, just do the first important task in your list, even if it’s a small one, the amazing feeling that you will get from accomplishing it, will make you want to go on.
Morning Routine
Start your day with a morning routine. Many successful people often exercise and read in the morning, it motivates them and gives them energy for the rest of the day. Find what works better for you and do that every morning.
After your morning routine, go ahead with the tasks that were planned, do not think about it, just do it, and don’t stop until you get it done.
Delegate
Do not try to do it all by yourself.
You are not a superhero, know your limits, do what matters and what you can do, and delegate or outsource anything else that can be done by others.
So, Now You Know!
Go to be a High Performer!
